Dr. Gaurav Goel

Dr. Gaurav Goel is Senior Director of Neurosciences at Medanta, Gurugram. He is a highly experienced

Neurointervention specialist with more than 20 years of expertise in treating vascular disorders of the brain and

spine. Moreover, he is known for advanced minimally invasive procedures that offer faster recovery and better

outcomes. He completed his MBBS, followed by MD in Radio-Diagnosis and DM in Neuroradiology. Later, he

pursued Fellowship training in Neurointervention. In addition, he received specialized training from the

prestigious Montreal Neurological Institute, Canada.

Dr. Goel is among the first few DM Neurointervention specialists in India. He has extensive experience in treating

aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), carotid artery disease, and other neurovascular conditions.

Furthermore, he specializes in aneurysm coiling, AVM embolization, intracranial and extracranial stenting, and

tumor embolization. His major area of interest is acute stroke management. Therefore, he is highly skilled in

performing mechanical thrombectomy and chemical thrombolysis. He also has expertise in advanced flow

diverter stent procedures for intracranial aneurysms.
